Lake Chapin Shores is a new community of 22 homesites located in Southwest Michigan’s Wine Country. The development combines lakeside living on a beautiful 600-acre lake with the cultural amenities that have grown up around the area’s award-winning vineyards.  Conveniently located less than two hours drive from the Chicago Loop, the property is close enough for a spontaneous weekend trip, but worlds away from the hustle and bustle of big city life.

Homescape is licensing several of its Cottage Home plans to the developers of Lake Chapin Shores. Homescape is also designing new plans that take advantage of the unique, cliff-like terrain along the lakeside sites.

	Homescape produced marketing materials for the developers with the project logo and contact information prominently displayed on each page. Within days of selecting their favorite plans from the Homescape plan library, the developers of Lake Chapin were marketing bundled "lot and home" packages.
	Lakeside Properties had used another architect to design a plan for a spec home at Lake Chapin Shores. Homescape produced a color rendering of the plan so all marketing materials for the development would have a consistent appearance. Home designed by Stanley Bell Associates, LLC.
	The developers studied the Homescape plan library extensively looking for appropriate plans for Lake Chapin Shores. This plan called Shelbyville from the Homescape Cove Home collection was reworked to configure it as a cottage with no garage, ample porches and decks, and a new facade.
	The resulting plan was dubbed Stevensville. This plan is now a part of the Homescape Cottage collection.
	Site plan produced by the developers shows the unique character of Lake Chapin Shores. Lots 1-11 front the lakeshore on a high, tree-covered bluff. Lots 12-22 are off the lake but have shared access to the community beach and boat docks.
