Perched along a ridgeline above a beautiful golf course in the Grand Rapids suburb of Cascade is a new development of single family detached condominium homes called Tuscan Crest. Homescape was retained by the developer to produce a house plan “perfect for the affluent empty nester” with a series of elevation styles to ensure architectural variety within the eight-lot plat. In an area surrounded by Craftsman-style homes, Homescape proposed an entirely different style to differentiate the project. An updated Mediterranean-style architecture with an abundance of stone was recommended and embraced by the developer. Homescape designed three Tuscan-style elevations (named Chianti, Siena and Florence), branded the project as Tuscan Crest, and produced a website and marketing materials for the project.
